OPEN HOUSE: Lars Ly

Last night, we were thrilled to throw open the doors and welcome guests to The Beyond Landscape - a meditation on the park as the intersection of nature, culture, and memory.

Featuring six striking works by acclaimed Danish painter Lars Ly, the exhibition explores our relationship to ritual and the sentimental in an interior inspired by the artist’s work, where everything from the furniture and fabrics to the curated objects invites you to live artfully—and comfortably—with a daily source of inspiration.

It is the embodiment of the Art/artefact philosophy, and we do hope you will come visit us, virtually or in person, while this transporting show is on display and shop the collection.

EXHIBITION DATES

October 12 - December 15

Open House Fridays: October 20, November 10, November 17, December 1, and December 15, and most anytime during the week by appointment!

Please be in touch with interest and questions, Audra loves to talk about the process of designing rooms with art first, and to dive into the passion behind embracing this engaged and warm way of living with our collections.

A MEDITATION ON THE PARK AS THE INTERSECTION OF NATURE, CULTURE, AND MEMORY

We all have a relationship to parks and the power of being among the trees and grasses with a picturesque folly or water feature in the not-too-far distance. Sitting with these paintings is like inviting that experience into your life on a daily basis, connecting with that uplifting, mysteriously soothing feeling each morning.

Art/artefact’s design approach brings art and objects together in dialogue, building comfortable rooms around special pieces that welcome conversation and inspiration.
